Aboard the Zatara 41’ sailing catamaran you will enjoy a more intimate experience with personalized service. A perfect alternative for snorkeling, and sailing to a beautiful and spectacular island of the Cordillera cays to enjoy beaches with crystal clear waters and white sands. As we set sail from Marina Puerto Del Rey you will be able to feel the Caribbean breeze while relaxing during our 45-minute sail to your first destination. The Captain’s preferred point of the adventure is the island of Icacos where you will find a very relaxing and enjoyable beach filled with white sands and clear blue turquoise waters. This is the perfect spot for first-time snorkelers to practice where you will see our underwater wonders of colorful fish, reef, and many other sea creatures. You can also beach comb or just lay down to relax on the powdered sand while sipping cold piña coladas.
- Aboard the Zatara we have a splash mat & a paddleboard for the enjoyment of our guests. Included on all packages.
- Private transportation service is available for an additional fee from any major hotel in the San Juan area.
- Guests must bring: Towels, sunscreen lotion, bathing suit and a small bag. The snorkeling equipment is available for sale at our check in store.

When sailing aboard Luxury Snorkeling Tour you’ll enjoy warm temperatures and waters along the trip with spectacular views and beautiful landscapes. That’s why we recommend bringing on board:
- Waterproof Camera – Bring your Go Pro or your waterproof camera for the best pictures and highlights of your snorkeling and Beach Tour. (We sell waterproof disposable cameras and Cell phone water resistant covers at our Check Inn Station)
- Sunblock – It’s always summer in Puerto Rico that’s the reason why it is always good to be protected from the Sun.
- Towels – You are going to get wet for sure and that why it’s convenient to bring your own towels.
- Change of Clothes – As we said you are going to get wet in this tour, because of that we recommend bringing an extra pair of clothes in a small back-pack or purse.
- Sunglasses and/or Hat
- Comfortable Sandals or waterproof shoes
- Dramamine – If you’re not used to navigating at the sea its always god to take a motion sickness pill at least one hour before the trip. You can find this any pharmacy or supermarket.
Cancellation Policy
- The charter can be canceled up to 14 days before the charter date for a full refund. Any cancellations done 24 hours prior or on the date of the tour are non refundable.
- Please be aware that we reserve the right to change the destination of this trip due to sea conditions at the captain’s discretion. If the charter is canceled due to sea conditions or mechanical failure, you will be entitled to a full refund.

We enjoyed a day on the water on a catamaran with Captain Wilo and crew! What a wonderful crew. We never had to want for anything and they kept the liquid refreshments coming! We have a great BBQ lunch while at an island for some swimming and snorkeling. We cannot say enough good things about this day trip and would do it again on our next visit!
We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We had a sunset cruise and the views were amazing. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Very very helpful. Snorkeling was great! BBQ on the boat was amazing and there was an open bar! Icacos was beautiful and we had a great time on the beach and could quickly go to the boat for drinks and refreshments. If you get motion sick please take something!! Overall was an amazing experience and would definitely do it again!! Maria was constantly checking to make sure we didn’t need anything, she was very sweet. They also made it fun for the kids on board. Highly recommend!!
This excursion is well worth it. We had a great time on the Zatara, with an exceptional crew who delivered the best service, and took time to get to know us. This was aboard a 19 passenger catamaran that provided a more intimate experience than some of the larger boats. We had a great time snorkeling, then enjoyed time at the beach and a delicious BBQ lunch. Would definitely do it again! Thank you, East Island Excursions, for a great day on the sea!
Did the snorkeling trip yesterday and couldn’t have been more pleased. The crew was awesome. The deluxe trip aboard the Zatara was definitely worth it.
Simply incredible! Highly recommend! Carlos, Mariel and crew were fantastic, engaging, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. The food and drinks and music were excellent. Sailing and seeing a dolphin (who rode our bow for a bit) on the way back from an amazing snorkeling trip were icing on the cake.
I booked the snorkeling trip on the Zatara to Icacos island after I called up their office and explained to them that it would be my first snorkeling trip ever. They recommended Icacos island excursion. Sure enough, Captain Milo and his crew were so attentive and helpful… Hamburgers and hot dog, chicken was grilled and served for lunch. Fresh fruits and drinks flowed freely. The beach on Icacos island was shallow and water was very clear. I could see a lot of fishes and a few corals. My son captured some good videos on his Go Pro. Would highly recommend this excursion !!
Hands down one of the best excursions we had while in PR! The crew was amazing. Very knowledgeable, charismatic, and had great customer service. Alex and Carlos had everyone laughing and ensuring we all had a good time. The island was beautiful and so was the snorkeling. A+
